Third time in two years, can you believe it? I'm usually pretty easygoing about car stuff, just pay the garage and move on with my life, but even I started wondering if something was wrong with me or the car at this point. My neighbor who's been here forever saw me jumping it the other morning and just laughed, said I was probably buying the wrong thing for the climate and that I should look into why some people never have these problems. Got me thinking maybe I've been approaching this all wrong. Did some reading online and found some really useful Insights on maintenance-free automotive solutions that actually explained the difference between standard parts and stuff that's built for our weather. Makes sense when you think about it, you wouldn't wear a winter coat in July here, so why would you use a battery designed for mild European summers? The whole concept of sealed units that don't need checking is appealing too, I'm not exactly the type to pop the hood and inspect things on a regular basis. Going to try something different this time and see if I can finally break this cycle of replacing things every year.
